I have my Associate in Arts from Bemidji State University and my Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications (with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism) from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Besides working at KAWE, I've worked at: * WDAY-TV in Fargo as a news photojournalist and editor in 2003 * KSTP-TV in St. Paul as a sports photojournalist and editor from 2003-2004 * KARE 11 News as news and sports photojournalist from 2004-2006. * Again at KSTP as a news and sports photojournalist in 2006. I also operated microwave live trucks and shot news from Chopper5. * I came to GTN in May 2006, left in March of 2007. * I then went to work for Intermedia Outdoors where I was a videographer, editor, producer, and director for In-Fisherman TV, Bowhunter Magazine TV, Guns & Ammo TV, The Professional Walleye Trail TV show, and others. This gave me my first opportunity to work with high definition video. * I returned to GTN in November 2007. |

In 2008, I coordinated access to the Republican National Convention where as a team with Mary Kline, Judy Skeie-Voss, and Scott Jenson produced many great stories. The coverage of North St. Paul police officer Richard Crittenden who was shot and killed responding to a call on September 7, 2009. |
